- 02. What is Noise Junkies about? (Mission Statement)
Nahuel: Without any questions, Nahuel has been my loyal partner in this journey. Together we’ve made two very popular double series (Double Shot and Double Storm) and many others will come. Nahuel has also provided several awards in the times of “GAME TIME” and of course, helped me out a lot with technical difficulties in the site. He has some tutorials over tutorialized.com, some 3ds max forums and of course his amazing site which is www.nalvfx.com.ar (for more information, check out VLOG 2 where I review his site).
David Wood: No questions about this guy either. Perhaps one of Noise Junkies’ most faithful fans since the first tutorial, David has also started his website a while ago and I must say his GIMP stuff is the best I’ve found on the web! Both inside and outside the VCP forum, David has shown interest and creativity for the area. He was also the winner of “RHYME-TIME”. His site is davidwoodfx.blogspot.com (which is also reviewed in VLOG 3 over here!)
Gimei: I dont speak German, but this design firm has definably got me some views from his country. His amazing work and DVD products are also very impressive. He even has some videos of how he made the explosions in his house and all. I mean, a magician gotta be cool to reveal its tricks. Gimei, like the others, is also part of the Video Copilot Forum, where they have contributed their knowledge. Their site is www.gimei.de
Staggasaurarts: Here is a name I will never learn how to spell or pronounce. But who cares? This guy over here is a huge tech genius that is helping me out a lot recently. He is responsible for many spelling checks, links and all the secret projects. I am glad that in this year of 2010, we are having more combined projects (Its gonna be a powerful year, you guys!). Anyways, his site is http://www.staggasaurarts.com/. Definably worth checking out his freebies and pieces of software as well as his blog and forum.
Noise Junkies is a website aiming to offer free video tutorials and tools for a variety of fields in the motion design industry: From royalty free stock music to photoshop and After Effects tutorials.
- 03. Who is the guy behind Noise Junkies?
Its me, Rafael Guerra. I am from Brazil. A webpage was an old dream that came true in March, 2009. Before Noise Junkies, I owned a blog to help my classmates in Physics. I also created a free little site with Weebly, but it didn´t last for vey long. In the beggining, I worked with a friend, very talented musician…but he was very lazy so I fired him (just kidding Andrew)…he actually moved to somewhere else. Today, I have the site and I love making tutorials and working for my clients…I am very happy to see that Noise Junkies is growing up…so thanks everyone.
